Pizza ?
Pizza is
originally a Italian dish, made with an oven-baked, flat ( thin or deep
pan) round bread made with plain flower that is covered with layer of
Tomato based sauce and mozzarella cheese and different types of vegetable
or meat toppings. Pizza
toppings are added according to region, culture, or personal preference.
In the UK most common toppings are Tomato, Green Pepper, Mushroom, Olive,
Pepperoni, Chicken, Meat and even fruits like Pineapple.
Pizza has
become popular in many different parts of the world including here in
the UK. A take away shop or restaurant that mainly makes and sells pizzas
is called a "pizzeria". The phrases "pizza parlor",
"pizza place" and "pizza shop" are used in the United
States.
