What
is a Pizza ?
Pizza is
originally a Italian dish, made with a flat oven baked round bread (
thin or deep pan). Normally it is made with plain flower that is covered
with layer of Mozzarella cheese with Tomato based sauce. These days
there are lots different choice of toppings available including vegetable
or meat . Pizza toppings
are added according personal preference. In the UK most common toppings
are Tomato, Green Pepper, Mushroom, Olive, Pepperoni, Chicken, Meat
and even fruits like Pineapple.
Pizza has
become popular food to eat in many different parts of the world including
here in the UK. Takeaways or restaurants that mainly makes and sells
pizza is called a "pizzeria". The phrases "pizza place"
and "pizza shop" "pizza parlor" are used in the
United States. In the UK we call them Pizza Takeaway or Pizza Restaurant.
